Programming & Linux
The practical base: software, networks, data, automation and public technical writing.
About / current practice
I work on production systems that are difficult to change safely: cloud platforms, Kubernetes and delivery paths, plus AI-agent workflows that need real evaluation and control.
What I do now
For platform teams, that means diagnosing reliability problems across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, Terraform, delivery, observability, security controls and ownership. For agent teams, it means choosing one suitable workflow and making evaluation, authority, escalation, traces, latency and cost part of the system.
I also take on IoT and edge DevOps work: secure delivery to gateways, containerised edge workloads, fleet telemetry and the cloud systems around connected products. I am not positioning the practice as embedded product development.
Why the range exists
The practical base: software, networks, data, automation and public technical writing.
Earlier electronics and IoT work created useful context for edge operations and constrained environments.
Containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, delivery systems and technical leadership.
Tool-using workflows treated as operational software, not a model demo.
Public record
The archive starts in 2011. It includes 182 dated technical records, three published books, structured courses, a 48-hour DevOps bootcamp and conference sessions through Azure Conf 2024.
